Santa Fe Mini Reunion - October 2012

We had one of our best mini reunions at Santa Fe October 3-7.  We all fell in love with the weather, art, food, and especially the fellowship that was enjoyed in this fascinating city/town of 70,000.  Not even the failure of the balloons to fly on Saturday morning  could dim the spirits of our group ( we had to get up at 5 am for the balloon festival. The highlight of the trip was a fabulous dinner at the spectacular home of Andrew (son of our classmate Shelby) and Sydney Davis.  We were also energized by a visit to the only United World College in America at Las Vegas New Mexico. Seeing this group of young potential future world leaders renewed our optimism and hope for our planet!  We also had a joint cocktail and dinner party with the classes of ’65 and ’66 who were also celebrating a mini reunion at the La Posada Hotel. This allowed us to split the costs of the festive set up, museum tour, and an interesting after dinner speaker.  The memories of this great trip should carry us to reunions.
